Your Subconscious drives your car.. it also drives your life!

Dear Ones,

We spoke in our last post about how much of your life is run from your subconscious mind. Now we would like to expand on that.

The Human Mind has many levels of awareness. The thoughts you are aware of, the analytical mind, and differing levels of subconscious. Most Humans imagine the mind is all in their head. And some Humans are so disconnected from their bodies that their head is all they are really aware of. But your 'mind' isn't really a place. It's energy. And this energy is stored all over your body,

The most obvious way you can see how your subconscious operates, is when an action you learn becomes so automatic, you don't even have to consciously think about how to do it. Like when you learn to walk as a toddler. At first, every step is a tricky balancing act, and you must concentrate to not fall down. Very quickly it becomes second nature, and all you have to do is work out where you want to go and your legs take you there.

As you get older, the things you learn become more complicated. Such as writing, and eventually even learning to drive a car. At first you have to concentrate to remember what to do. With practice it becomes so second nature you simply think about where you want to go. And sometimes it is so familiar you arrive and have no memory of driving there.

In the same way, patterns of thought, belief and attitude can be so ingrained, so familiar that they are invisible to you except you see the results of them in your life. Driving your decisions, choices and reactions. But because they are for the most part invisible the results can seem like something arriving or happening to you from outside of you.

But life happens from the inside out. As you believe, so you create. As you believe so you choose. And as you believe so your reality is constructed all around you. So what can you do to be more conscious of your beliefs?

First know, you are not your mind. You are not your thoughts. You are not your beliefs. You were born for the most part clear from mental constructs. Your thoughts were pure vibration and you did not yet have words to contain and distort the vibrations. The Dear Human writing this once had the experience as an adult of thinking only in vibration, and realised how pure it felt without words.

Once you learnt to understand Human language, even before you could speak it, you began to create mental constructs including beliefs, and attitudes taken from the environment around you. These were not originally part of you. But as a child you were wide open, your brainwaves in Theta, essentially in a permanent state of meditation soaking up the thoughts and beliefs around you, reconstructing them in your own mind and body. And thus they began to drive your life

But you have a choice. They can continue to drive your life, or you can bring them to the light of conscious awareness. And this is where the work begins.

There are many ways to get to know your Subconscious. Developing your Inner Observer is essential. The part of you that can stand back and watch your thoughts, your actions and ask questions. “Why did I react like that?” “Why am I feeling like this?” “Is this thought true?” Questioning is a great way to break the hold that these patterns can have over your life. The patterns can be so familiar that you assume they are true and real. It can feel like they have always been there, therefore they must be real, right?

Once you begin to realise that just because you think it, or feel it, or react a particular way doesn't mean it's true or real you can then explore what lies beneath it. Where it comes from, what it means to you, the effect it's had on your life. There are many conventional therapies that aim to help you explore your subconscious drives and patterns. There are also less conventional methods, that can be used alongside those or on their own. Meditation, journaling, art, hypnosis, movement, tuning into nature which is so present it can help you get out of your head and thoughts and into the present moment, prayer, and many others. Simply setting an intention to know your unconscious patterns starts the process of awareness and understanding.

There is no one right way to discover and work through and release your patterns. Every Human is unique and you will be unique in the way you reveal and release your patterning. Please do not ever feel bad for absorbing and recreating patterns. Whatever they might be. It is inevitable as a Human, being so wide open in the early years that you will take at least some of the patterns you are so aware of. It is part of the Human Journey. Part of the Challenge of Becoming. How do you know who you really are, unless you realise who you are not?

Please know, that whatever patterns you have been driven by in your Human Life, you are Loved and Supported. And once you set your intention to free yourself from whatever patterning you wish to release, the whole of Source is ready, willing and able to bring you whatever resources you require. Just be open and willing to receive our help and we are right there. It might be an ad that pops up on Facebook or Instagram, or a chance comment you overhear or a quiet nudge to go somewhere or talk to someone who can give you a piece of information we know will help you, or many other possibilities.

You are not stuck with any patterns in your life. Everything and anything can be changed, released and purified. And there is nothing but Love and Support for you and your intentions. Your life is yours, to do with as you wish. And we are here to help you fulfil your wishes. Allow yourself to wish upon a star and have dreams. Because that is why you are here. To be a Conscious Creator. Take the wheel of your life, and drive it!
